Ring Sizes

When buying a ring, it is obviously very important to choose the right size; too tight and you might not be able to get it on or off; too loose and it's possible that your ring could fall off and be lost. However, finger gauges, ring sizing gauges and published charts do not always agree, and its also quite common for ring sizes to vary slightly from one jeweller or workshop to another. This means that it's always a good idea to try the ring on if possible, and have your finger measured professionally at the jewellers.

In this section, we take a look at the various different systems used in the UK, US and across the world to measure ring sizes, along with a look at how you can find out your own ring size.
